Still on Christopher Columbus.
With his fleet of three ships — the Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa María — Columbus sailed WEST on August 3, 1492 expecting to reach Japan. It was early on the morning of October 12, 1492 when they landed on one of the islands of the Bahamas, which Columbus named San Salvador.
His aim was to reach Asia but he ended up in today's South American coasts.
Africans call developed worlds "western nations", yet they too sail WEST to reach Africa. Where you are today (that profession or vocation) is someone's WEST.
God has deposited something good in every land, enterprise, profession, course, etc. Explore yours and expand it.
Every land is blessed. The question should be: What is God's plan for me? If you know this, you wont GO WEST trying to get better. All you need is to trust God and also metamorphose your mind.
Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
