THE JEZEBEL DRESSING AND ITS AIM (Part 1- Introduction).

By Samuel appeadu

Jezebel dressing! What is Jezebel dressing? Jezebel dressing is modern fashion. It is made up of all the things that makes a woman or a man look sexually attractive or provocative - usually called "looking sexy" - meaning the person is ripened or seasoned to be desired in bed.
There is a difference between looking descent and dressing sexy. Dressing sexy is not dressing to look good or descent. Modern fashion is about dressing sexy, which some confuse with looking good or descent.
God's children are supposed to dress modestly and decently, and not sexy:
‪#‎Scripture‬:
[8] Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
[9] I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
[10] but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God (1 Timothy 2:8-10).
SEXY DRESSING
Dressing to look sexually provocative or sexy is of Jezebel. It is a means that Jezebel uses to cast a spirit of lust against God's children, in order to cause them to commit fornication and adultery, collectively called sexual immortality. Sexual immortality is every sexual activity that is performed outside a marriage union, which is between a natural female and a natural male.
JEZEBEL'S AIM AND PURPOSE
Jezebel's aim and purpose is to defile God's children and make them unholy.
She achieves her aim through the use of these three things:
#1. Sexual immortality - that is, fornication and adultery.
#2. Idolatry or idol worship - is loving and honoring someone or something more than God.
#3. False doctrines or teachings or heresies - that is teachings and doctrines that cannot be based fully on the Bible.
Dear friends, sons, daughters, sisters and brothers; our God, the FATHER of our LORD Jesus Christ is HOLY; HE is not a god of "everything goes," as some who claim to be men-of-God will make you to believe. I reiterate: Jesus is not a God of "everything goes," but the God of HOLINESS.
WHAT IS HOLINESS?
Holiness means to be set apart for God's use ONLY. Remember the word ONLY: for God's use ONLY. IT MEANS OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD ONLY. It means to LOVE God ONLY; like a wife who does not cheat on the husband, but is faithful and obedient to the husband only. Therefore, this wife loves her husband with all her heart, mind and soul and strength. God is looking for those who love HIM with all their heart, mind, strength and soul; fulfilling the first and the greatest commandment:
[35] One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
[36] "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
[37] Jesus replied: "’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
[38] This is the first and greatest commandment (Matthew 22:35-38).
DO NOT GO UP THE STAIRS TO GOD'S ALTAR.
God commands HIS children not to go up by stairs to HIS altar, in order not to expose their nakedness:
[26] And you shall not go up by steps to MY altar, that your nakedness be exposed on it (Exodus 20:26).
The steps or stairs represent all the human designs and works that could reveal a person's nakedness and shape - like the mini skirts and short dresses, the tights and the pants, the stretch jeans and pants, show your top-breasts and belly button; show your back and waist and the rest - are all a type of steps leading to the exposure of a person's nakedness in the midst of God's children, where God's altar is.
The altar is the house of God; or anywhere that Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior is worshipped or the meetings and midst of the saints.
In the Old Testament times the people used to erect altars that were high above the ground, and climbed by way of steps or stairs. In their climbing to give sacrifice on these altars their nakedness were exposed to those who stood on the ground below them.
The main reason why God gave this command was not to expose our nakedness in the public, and to others we were not married to. A person's nakedness is for the spouse only. Therefore, this law tells us to be mindful about exposing our nakedness in the church and in the general public.
Exposing your nakedness in public is against God's law. Modern fashion is designed to expose peoples nakedness in public - the mini skirts, the short dresses, the stretch and tight jeans and pants; the show your shapes, the showing of your breasts and the see-through dresses, and show your belly button and the exposing of your back are all forms of exposing a person's nakedness. As a child of the Most High God, it will be well to refrain from dressing according to the standards of world.
(He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches).
